Ballyogan
House nestles on the banks of the beautiful River Barrow close
to the medieval town of Graiguenamanagh in County Kilkenny -
the sunny South East of Ireland. This restored period farmhouse
(circa 1850) is set on 50 acres of woods and pasture bordering
the river. With wonderful views of the Blackstairs Mountains
from all rooms, the house is comfortably furnished with a large
conservatory to relax in. There is a sitting room for guests
with TV, games and books. Robert & Fran Durie welcome you
to their family home and assure their guests of peaceful and
tranquil surroundings.

The house is fully centrally heated, and accommodation consists
of four comfortably appointed bedrooms:
One
family room: The Primrose Room
Two
twin rooms: The Bluebell Room and the Foxglove room
And
one double: The Lilac Room
All are en suite.
Traditional
breakfasts made with fresh local produce are complemented with
a choice of Continental style fare. There is a large garden,
woods and the riverbank for strolls. 4.5 Kms from the medieval
riverside town of Graiguenamanagh with its beautiful abbey Church
and within easy reach of historical Kilkenny and Waterford (and
its famous glass factory). The renowned Mount Juliet golf course
is also nearby.
