Towns and villages in the New Ross area
  Ballyhack

Starting point for the 48 mile (77km) Wexford Coastal Path Walk. Its river car ferry connects the town to Passage East in Co Waterford.

  Campile

It grew up around Dunbrody Abbey and takes its name from the River Pil. It was accidentally bombed by the Luftwaffe during the 1940s


  Duncannon

Its Blue Flag Beach is famous for its sand sculpting festival held each year and is very popular as a tourist retreat.


  Fethard-on-Sea

A popular destination for family holidays with its many beaches.


  Foulksmills

It figured prominently in the 1798 Rebellion. The Corragh river drives the wheel of the old grain mill.


  Graiguenamanagh

It grew up around the magnificently restored Duiske Abbey. “Graig” has many pleasing aspects from its tranquil river walks, superb coarse fishing, pleasure boating and other water based activities.


  Inistioge

Set on the river Nore, it has been the location for 2 international films, “Widow’s Peak” and “Circle of Friends”. It is home to “Woodstock Estate” with river walks and excellent fishing.


  St. Mullins

Step back in time and visit its Monastic sites, also
renowned for its beautiful walks by the Barrow.

  Wellington Bridge

It takes its name from the Duke of Wellington, commemorating his victories at Waterloo. Starting Point for the signposted Bannow Drive.
